COLLADO MENA ES LICENCIADO EN FILOSOFIA Y LETRAS POR LA UNIVERSIDAD DE MURCIA. DURANTE 1983 FUE PRESIDENTE DE LA ASAMBLEA REGIONAL, FUNCION QUE DESEMPEÑO HASTA QUE PRESENTO SU DIMISION -A PRINCIPIOS DE 1984- PARA OPTAR A. LA PRESIDENCIA DE SU COMUNIDAD. HABLAR DE MURCIA EN ESTE SALON DE CIENTO, EQUIVALE A REFERIRNOS A LA HISTORIA CONTEMPORANEA DE BARCELONA, YA QUE ES CONOCIDO DE TODOS EL GRAN MOVIMIENTO DE POBLACION MURCIANA HACIA NUESTRA CIUDAD CON MOTIVO DE LAS OBRAS DE CONSTRUCCION DEL METRO Y DE LA EXPO- �2. SICION UNIVERSAL DE 1929. SI BIEN LA APORTACION POBLACIONAL DE LA REGION DE MURCIA HACIA CATALUNYA, Y SOBRETODO HACIA BARCELONA, HA IDO DISMINUYENDO CON EL PASO DEL TIEMPO, LA CIFRA DE CIUDADANOS BARCELONESES NACIDOS EN ESA REGION, NO ES EN ABSOLUTO TESTIMONIAL EN LA ACTUALIDAD, YA QUE SON 40.000 LAS PERSONAS QUE HABITAN EN BARCELONA-CIUDAD, Y APROXIMADAMENTE 80.000 SI NOS REFERIMOS AL AMBITO DE LA CORPORACION METROPOLITANA. SI ESTAMOS HERMANADOS PORQUE, COMO ACABO DE DECIR, MURCIA FORMA PARTE DEL CORAZON DE BARCELONA, TAMBIEN LO ESTAMOS POR RAZONES DE MEDITERRANEIDAD. PERMITA AHORA, SEÑOR PRESIDENTE, QUE CONTEXTUE MINI BASI -MA-ENTSUCOFRIA,NUSERDATO COS DE LA REGION DE MURCIA. CON UNA EXTENSION DE ALGO MAS DE 11.000 KM2., SU POBLACION EN LA ACTUALIDAD ES DE CASI 1.000.000 DE HABITANTES, SIENDO SU RENTA POR HABITANTE DE UNAS 392.000 PTAS., LO QUE LA SITUA EN EL DECIMOTERCER LUGAR EN EL RANKING DE PRODUCCIONES AUTONOMICAS, SEGUN SIEMPRE LA PUBLICACION DEL BANCO DE BILBAO "RENTA NACIONAL DE ESPAÑA 1933". �3.
