Entrevista a Josep Antoni Acebillo i Marín (Osca, 1946). Arquitecte i Llicenciat en història de l’art.
Fou director del Servei de Projectes Urbans de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona (1981-1987), i director tècnic de l’Institut Municipal de Promoció Urbanística (IMPU, 1988-1994). Integrant del Holding Olímpic (1985-1993), col·laborant estretament amb l’acalde Maragall.
Arquitecte en Cap de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona (1999-2003).
Impulsor, conseller delegat i director de Barcelona Regional, S.A. (Agència Metropolitana de Desenvolupament Urbanístic i d’Infrastructures, 1994-2011).
Ha estat professor de l’ETSAB i de l’Accademia di Architettura, Università della Svizzera Italiana (Mendrisio, Suïssa).

Va ser alcaldessa pel PSC a Mollet del Vallès (1987-2003), Consellera d’Interior del govern Maragall (2003-2006) i Consellera de Justícia del govern Montilla (2006-2010).
Fou diputada al Parlament de Catalunya en les V, VI, VII, VIII i IX legislatures (1995-2004). Membre del PSC de 1979 fins el 2015.
