Expresident de la Generalitat de Catalunya Resposta a l’amic Balcells sobre el vot en blanc E L’expresident de Catalunya contesta l’article del diputat pel PSC al Parlament Josep Maria Balcells, membre de Ciutadans pel Canvi, en què es mostrava dolgut que l’antic president defensés el vot de protesta cal una decidida aposta per l’autoritat dels directors a les escoles i una aposta per l’escola local o comarcal, en la línia de millor tradició escolàstica catalana, la del pressupost de Cultura de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona el 1907, la de Marta Mata, adaptada evidentment a les realitats del segle XXI. ntenc la preocupació de Balcells, pel que veig en l’article publicat a El Punt, per la possibilitat, en què jo no crec, d’una victòria del PP en les eleccions generals. Però siguem clars. En cap cas el PP traurà majoria absoluta, i no sembla probable que el partit de Duran i Pujol ajudi el PP –i no diguem el PNB o ERC–. Ja n’hi ha prou d’estalviar-se de pensar altres sortides que les actuals. Ja n’hi ha prou de renunciar a imaginar altres escenaris que els heretats. Els escenaris heretats ja han demostrat les seves limitacions. Ciutadans pel Canvi va néixer per ajudar el socialisme català a fer el sorpasso del nacionalisme català després de 20 anys d’hegemonia d’aquest. Me’n deixo. «Ha vingut a afegir-se a la llarga llista de personatges famosos afectats d’Alzheimer», estava a punt d’escriure tal com fan milers de periodistes cada vegada que saben que un nou personatge conegut té Alzheimer. Si és que algun cop els han sabut, obliden la majoria dels altres noms i en fan prou escrivint que n’hi ha una «llarga llista», encara que, escrivint això, estableixin també una relació involuntària entre el seu oblit i aquesta malaltia de l’oblit. Veig al You Tube un fragment del documental que Albert Solé ha gravat amb Jordi Solé Tura, el seu pare. «Hòstia! Jo he estat tancat aquí?», diu l’exministre quan el seu fill llegeix un fragment d’una diligència d’un jutjat que diu que se li comuniqui que «está en prisión preventiva». Després, el fill explica que va viure una infantesa especial, diferent, que és ell qui necessita recuperar el seu origen i les seves arrels, poder fer entendre a la seva filla qui va ser el seu avi. La memòria, doncs. Sempre la memòria. dem formar amb les Illes, València i el sud de França, o les connexions interiors de Catalunya, i altres, probablement més interessants per una gran quantitat de ciutadanes i ciutadans, com la salut i l’educació (la portada d’ahir dissabte de l’edició de Barcelona d’El Punt és ben explícita)... V isc en un poble (el meu) on, al llarg del riu que el travessa, el Brugent, en força menys de dos quilòmetres hi havia, a l’edat mitjana, setze molins, tots documentats, és clar. La construcció de tants molins, sobretot entre els segles XII i XIV, fou impulsada pels diferents senyors del castell d’Hostoles (entre Sant Feliu de Pallerols i les Planes), que gaudien dels rendiments de la terra menada pels pagesos remences, i obligaven a anar a moldre als molins que ells assignaven. La majoria eren fariners, però també n’hi havia de drapers o blanquejadors, que, en comptes de la típica pedra de molí, tenien maces o nocs per masegar i estovar els draps amb uns líquids sabonosos i alcalins. Els masos molí encara existei- xen, avui, a banda i banda del riu, abandonats i arruïnats, la majoria. Van tenir un paper clau en l’economia d’aquest tros de país, almenys fins ben entrat el segle XX, quan van deixar de funcionar en haver de competir amb les farineres elèctriques. Però tampoc no podrien funcionar avui, encara que no hi hagués competència: el doll d’aigua que baixava de la font Grossa i formava el Brugent s’ha convertit en un rajolí irrisori i llastimós on no poden nadar ni els ànecs.
